I’m forming a new company around Egress Networking needs. A lot has changed in the last 20 years, and it is time to bring back old ideas. Ideas that were simpler and robust have stood the test of time and satisfied the needs of most organizations and developers. The goal is not to reinvent anything anywhere at all and instead use boring technology and promote boring technology.
Introducing Enzo
Using Sentry and worried about sending some sensitive data? Calling a third-party API and need a static IP address? Using Stirpe and want to ensure you log all traffic bound to Stripe? Are you running into outages with a third-party database service or API service? These are some of the many problems that Enzo aims to solve with the Egress networking needs of today’s computer software and cloud networking. Using technology that was invented more than two decades ago.
And, of course, Enzo is a wonderful dog name.
Enzo has been running in production with happy users. And now I’m confident that a sustainable and profitable business can be built around Enzo. I will be sharing more in the coming months.
